Windy Sunday in Texas and Mind Mapping
After two solid months of triple-digit temperatures and no rain, today I have all the windows and doors open, hoping to suck in as much of this cool breeze coming our way as a result of the hurricane approaching Louisiana. Just turned on the weather channel to see if I can find an update of what's going on there. All I know right now is that this wind feels like heaven.
Been working too much and not playing enough. Trying to get all of my blogs, Facebook accounts, and Twitter pages cleaned up. Getting ready to transform Learn Web Writing into a sales page for a great book to help beginner's learn to make money writing for the web.
I finally have a plan of action for my career. I have been throwing stuff at the wall since I fell apart in 2008. Now my mind is getting back to normal, (whatever that is) and I see that I have to focus to get anything done effectively. Going to maintain my three blogs, Freebie Nut, Elegant Daily and Go to College and their FB and Twitter accounts. Those are my money makers. I get paid to blog and I also get free products for doing reviews. I have fun, and I get the bills paid. But what I am headed toward is becoming an Ebay and CL seller and buyer. My favorite thing to do is find treasures, figure out what they are worth and sell them. I am a wheeler dealer from way back. In a former life I was probably a used car salesman, although I would rather call myself a Deal Geologist.
I bought a women's Seiko watch for fifty cents at a garage sale yesterday. I came home and did some research on it and discovered one just like it for sale on Ebay for $250. Those are the kind of profits I like. Two of my favorite shows are Auction Hunters, (oh what a great job that would be!) and Pawn Stars.
Ok, gotta run. Ya'll have a happy Labor Day Weekend and stay safe!
